I’m Lara, an Ottawa based Jeweller/Designer and for the past 11 years, I have been handcrafting unique pieces of chainmail jewellery using patterns that have been around for centuries, a few years, or even a few days.
All my pieces are made with quality metals that are allergy friendly, such as sterling silver and titanium. They are wonderful for sensitive skin and can be worn 24/7.
Each ring is individually opened, closed and linked to create stunning patterns.
My love of the medieval period and fantasy was the initial reason I got into chainmail.
The need for jewellery for clients with sensitive skin drove me to create my pieces with quality metals that are allergy friendly.
When designing my pieces I try to make each one look like a work of art.
